SING WITH US
Sound and Vision rehearses weekly on Wednesdays from 4:45–6 at the School of Musical Traditions, 7112 Willow Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912.
There is also a walking caravan that meets at Piney Branch Elementary at dismissal time, allowing chorus rehearsal to double as Wednesday aftercare for participating students.

Tuition is $420 per 12-week session.
Sibling discount: Families with multiple children enrolled in the program will receive 10% off tuition for every singer after the first singer.
Registration fee: $25/year per singer, which includes Sound and Vision concert t-shirt!
All fees and tuition are non-refundable.

Not at all. We welcome singers of all experience levels. Whether your child has sung in choirs before or just loves to sing at home, we’re here to help them grow musically, gain confidence, and learn what it’s like to be part of a musical ensemble.

Our repertoire blends contemporary rock, pop, and soul with protest songs that reflect themes of justice, community, and empowerment. Think Bowie, Aretha, Nina Simone, Brandi Carlile and unexpected artists of today.

We’re planning performances at community events, local venues, and special collaborative concerts. Expect meaningful, high-energy shows with a live band comprised of some of the best local musicians!
